Did you see the new pic from the 2016 Met Ball. Brie and Tom are in front of Taylor but Brie is looking behind her at Taylor. Similar dresses at a Met Ball Taylor was the cochair for, the night Taylor started “dating” Tom and met Toe, the person she’s supposedly singing about now.

I did!!! First Meltie, and now Braylor content? 🥳 If we’re lucky, at this rate, we’ll get a candid or the selfie from the Time 100 Gala! They both wore LV for the theme, don’t know if they had the same stylists/MUA, tho.

NOTE: This was also the same Met Gala that a super sober Taylor was grrrrinding on a Ms Kloss in public, platonically.

Thank you! The song sounds entirely personal to me so I wouldn’t agree with that rule either. The “dodge a bullet” line could probably apply to KK given her connections in 2016 and Taylor distancing herself from that situation as much as possible, being so scared of the future, everything ending, her career apocalypse, opening her eyes and trying to understand the political state of the country, wrestling with trying to possibly sort it out or give it all up...just pondering. 💭

Thanks Anon! However, the 2nd half of 2016 was considered “Fine” for the girls, and the fandom were bracing for a return to 2014-like normalcy. 2017 is when things started to get messy, imo. Orrrrrrr, the honeymoon ended in early November, but that’s a pretty quick turnaround.
