1. Project Overview:
There will be three levels, each one getting progressively more challenging. The player character will start each level at one end of the screen and the objective will be to get to another marked location. The end of the level will be marked by the word “Finish” printed on a sign in the level. The character will move horizontally and vertically, jumping on different platforms while avoiding pitfalls and spikes. The player will have three chances or lives to complete the game, but the lives refresh back to three with the completion of each level. There will be a time limit for each level and if the player does not complete the level in the allotted time, they will lose the game and the Game Over screen will load. When the final level is completed, the game will load back to the first level. If the player exhausts all their lives, a Game Over screen will activate. On the Game Over screen, wait three seconds and the first level will load once again.
2. Task List:
[Move Horizontally] towards platforms and to navigate the levels. [Jump] across pitfalls and onto platforms. Locate the end zone (marked by a sign with the word “Finish” printed on it) and move the player character into that zone, then press W to [Activate] the next level. Press A/D to [Move Horizontally] and press Space to [Jump]. Reach the end of the level before the time runs out.
