The Red Sox going to the World Series is the only thing redeeming 2018 for me. From all the disastrous weather events, injustice for all non-white/ non-wealthy people, to my mom getting diagnosed with terminal cancer and so many other things, I needed a win. I needed my favorite team to make it. Go Sox! I will be cheering all the way!

so the astros lost, but whatever. I'm kind of glad they did because of a whole host of reasons. anyway it was fun to hang out with my buds, saw my friend who's become a BIT of a media sensation these days and we just high-fived, sighed at each other, shrugged, and fist-bumped lol. like what is there to say????

I hadn't been up from the lower concourse all season but our seats were good and I had a good angle on Ian Kinsler (I have.... so many pictures and videos of him? what?) and had a weird "my god these guys were playing the first year I watched baseball" moment w/ kins and Verlander. redd didn't start bc lefty, but we said hi to Max after BP.

the guy next to me was Canadian? he was dressed in a v nice suit and was v loud. I was amused. last postseason game I went to we sat next to two guys who'd flown up from Mexico City so it felt a lil like NAFTA.
