Two other men were found dead on the Mount Everest, changing the death toll of May 2018 tot 3. The third being Nobukazo Kuriki.
Gjeorgi Petkov, a 63 year old man from Macedonian, died after he had collapsed near Camp 3. He most likely died from a cardiac arrest (a malfunction where the hard suddenly stops with beating).
Earlier in the month of May, Lam Babu, a Sherpa, went missing. It’s unclear what happened to them as some say he might have suffered from snow blindness. He was reported missing on May 14. He was officially declared dead when his bag and shoes had been found.
