so aside from uprooting my life and moving from texas to minnesota, my quarantine hobby has been growing hoyas, which are gorgeous succulent-like plants. when i first started collecting, one of my first special plants was a hoya macrophylla that i named quentin, both for spreadsheet and sentimental reasons. he was tough for me to figure out at first! he kept wilting, and seemed to need way more care than other hoyas. but now i've figured him out, and i'm gonna be weird about this plant and share the a (may) and b (september) and take it all for some kinda metaphor.
