Life is so beautiful if you take a second soak in every moment. This year has taught me a lot but above all things... it has taught me to slow down and see the little things in a different light and I actually have my sister to thank for that. She and her husband celebrated many many times this year: their meeting anniversary, getting together anniversary, their proposal anniversary, their wedding anniversary, and so on! And they’ve also celebrated with us on our little milestones... and I asked why celebrate so many anniversaries and small accomplishments? She beautifully said, “These are the moments in our life that matter. If we don’t celebrate it, no one will and they will be forgotten. You don’t always have to throw a big celebration, just acknowledging these moments reminds us of our love and commitment to each other. Make every moment count!” Wise beyond her years... she still stops to admire a single flower blooming in the fall, stops to dance to her favorite songs in the super market, pulls in her husband for a kiss in the middle of nothing just to remind him of her love, and writes people just because she’s been thinking of them. I love observing her spirit and hope that I can be more like her! Let’s not wait to do or say the things that matter to us! 2020 is not over yet! #2020isnotcancelled #2020isbeautiful #stopandsmelltheflowers #slowdown #celebratelife #celebratelittlethings #lifeisbeautiful #embracetheday #itisnotaboutthedestination #lifeisajourneynotadestination #weddingphotographer #photographyinspiration #lightchaser #knowyourworth #followyourheart #freespirit (at Villa Montalvo County Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/CFpSC9ajY_m/?igshid=u9sd7s77huz9
