made in Painting VR @itspaintingvr I’m impressed with the early access version of this VR painting simulator. You get an enormous studio, a huge canvas… you can mix your own paints, use giant rollers, splatter paint, spray paint, you can blend paint right on the canvas. A lot of the tools react physically in the way you’d expect them too. It’s the closest thing to IRL painting I’ve experience. There is NO UNDO function which I kind of love because that adds so much to the realness and the fun of this simulation. If you want to paint on the top of the canvas you have to use the lever to lower it… overall a totally unique approach to making art in VR. Highly recommend.

心臓がばん、と跳ね上がり、そこから呼吸が落ち着くまでしばらくかかった。大丈夫、大丈夫だから落ち着いて、って自分の体に自分で言い聞かせていたら今度は涙が込み上げてきて呆然とした。

よくある事象のひとつだ。数時間経てばおさまる発作みたいなものだ。次第に落ち着くから、そんなに思い詰めなくていい。安心して。それはわかっている。わかったうえで、やっぱり渦中は苦しい。ひっそりとひとりになれるリモートワークもオンラインMTGも、こういうときには便利だと思う。画面OFFの向こう側でどんな顔をしているかはわからないから。

仕事が忙しくてバテてるんだろうなぁと分かっていたから放っておいたけど、ここ最近すこし寂しかった。でもついさっきまで電話してて元気出た。週末会おうね私たちの家が見つかるといいね。お互い一週間頑張りましょう！
