Podfic Stats! 2023 was my first real attempt at dedicated tracking.

My most productive months, tracked by posting date (rather than created date), were:
December with 24 hours, 18 minutes, and 44 seconds posted
May with 19 hours, 37 minutes, and 35 seconds posted
August with 10 hours, 38 minutes, and 5 seconds posted
What's fun for me about this is that all 3 of these were events: ITPE posted in December, Voiceteam was all of May, and August was posting for Summer Podfic Swap! I really do thrive on making things for people / in events.
My most posted category was M/M, which is unsurprising, but what DID surprise me is that Gen was very closely in second place. Around mid-year, I entered a really gen-fic focused mood, and I'm impressed with myself that I ended up with 120 Gen podfics (compared to 145 M/M ones).
My longest podfic was a multi-voice at around 10 hours:

My shortest podfic was also for ITPE, at 50 seconds long

Aaaand despite all of this (or perhaps because of it), one of my 2024 goals is to write more, which inevitably means podding less. I also want to work on finishing some of the WIPs I'm carrying into 2024 with me, or at least making progress on some of the longest ones that I know won't be finished any time soon.
However, instead of making Goals that I could miss out on, I had my friends brainstorm a podfic bingo with me, so I can feel accomplished when I hit on some of them by the end of the year, but not feel like I failed if I don't get them all. Some are easy, some are harder, but all of them make me excited for the year to come!
Final thanks to anyone who listened to my pods this year, especially if you commented on them! I look forward to making more, and hearing what other people enjoy about them always makes me more motivated to keep it up!
