Chubbzie explores why 2025 felt like a year of profound personal reckoning, discussing how many experienced unexpected losses in relationships, work, and personal identity. She examines the psychological patterns of imbalanced systems and how emotional stress can lead to systemic collapses. Chubbzie explores the profound transformative energies of 2025, discussing how this year represents a collective period of endings, personal dismantling, and necessary spiritual restructuring through the lenses of numerology, astrology, and philosophical perspectives.
2025 wasn’t a glow-up. It was survival. Five jobs. Constant recalibration. No luxury of “finding myself,” just figuring it out in real time. If you’re still standing, you weren’t lost, you were tested.

2025 Writing Reflection
Fics posted this year: 10
Words posted this year: 130,121
Words written this year: No clue in total, but 71k in the last three months. Goes to show that my WIPs are extensive.
Favourite fic I've written this year: A Mother's Prerogative. It's a bit more niche, but it's the kind of thing I absolutely love, and I got to include a lot of my favourite world building and story elements.
Favourite line I've written this year: It's a real close battle with quite a few, and a lot of them I only love so much because they draw on other things from earlier in their fics, are a result of repetition, an amalgamation of different motifs, etc. If I had to ignore all of those and narrow down to one line (though technically a few sentences and better in context), it'd be in Jason's POV from these mouths we have are traps: "A half sob falls from Dick’s lips. . ., wet and only belatedly cut off by snapping his mouth shut, but that only succeeds in morphing it into a muffled, reedy whine. A sound like he's dying. Like Jason's killing his brother. He wants to die."
Favourite scene I've written this year: Eleven paragraphs in Angle of Consumption. From "He can't quite remember the saying. Was it three's a pattern? Or four?" to "He's made it a Habit." It was the first part I wrote for that fic and surprised me with how little revision it ended up going through.
Personal Achievement: Getting as far as I have with buried deep, these memories. This fic grew way beyond my expectations, and as the outline and word count continued to expand, I didn't have a lot of faith in finishing my first multi-chapter. But the end is in sight, and even now I'm proud of the work I've poured into it.
Here's to hoping I finish a few more of those several dozen work in progresses in the new year!
Saying Goodbye to 2025 and Welcoming 2026: A Year in Review with Hope
There is something ceremonial about closing a year this thoroughly. Not because a calendar demands it, but because the body and mind do. 2025 was not a year that slipped quietly into memory. It arrived loudly, lingered awkwardly, contradicted itself constantly, and left behind a paper trail of headlines that felt alternately surreal, exhausting, and occasionally—almost offensively—hopeful. This…
2025: Signals, Noise, and What Remained
When the Year Changed Without Asking!!! I didn’t realize the year was changinguntil it already had. There was no announcement. No clear before-and-after. Just a quiet accumulation of daysthat slowly rearranged me. That, in hindsight, was the first signal. Expectations: Entering the Year With Models I entered 2025 with plans.Clear ones.Measured ones. Timelines.Milestones.Effort carefully…
