2025 Bingo Review—got a bingo and technically cleared over half of the sheet, which is a good reminder that I actually DID manage a lot of what I’d hoped for even if a lot of other things started strong but then fizzled out after 3-5 months.
Going a year without laundry snowballing or my bedroom/desk becoming a disaster for an extended period was good for my mental health.
While I didn’t drink as much water as I should it was still an improvement on last year; and even though I still spent more time than I’d like doomscrolling/falling into social media holes, I did a much better job at limiting it (even in the back half of the year I kept it under an hour a day 70%+ of the time).
I spent time with wonderful long distance friends, took a lovely long weekend trip to a National Forest, completed a few things, had a picnic, went for some hikes, did a lot of planning/world-building for a novel, and *obliterated* my reading goal for the year, so definitely some wins!
I also learned that “do __ more” goals are hard to score if you did them a LOT early on but then almost completely fell off them in the second half of the year, so I’m going to try a different approach for 2026. Really need to prioritize caring for my body better (moving, stretching, standing) and more consistent creative work (for my mental/emotional health and sense of fulfillment) in 2026.
