Exceptional people do exceptional things with the exception of people who often time are unable to understand them and with time the silver linning is their legacy. Genius is a bullit train on steroids going full speed on rusty bumpy tracks. This is my impression of the film that takes some digesting, at least for me. Maria de Medeiros took my soul, she could not have been more Iberian.

Henry & June is a 1990 American biographical drama film directed by Philip Kaufman, The film is loosely based on the posthumously published 1986 Anaïs Nin book of the same name, and tells the story of Nin's relationship with Henry Miller and his wife, June.The film was nominated for Best Cinematography at the 63rd Academy Awards.It was the first film to be given an NC-17 rating by the MPAA.
