I'd be happy to link resources and share! One handy trick that I'll share as a bonus is that I sometimes go into Sims4Studio and change categories for cyberware (sometimes I put them in skin details, body scars etc) so I can layer them just right and use more than I'd be able to if I left them alone. Let me know if you need a tutorial on that and I'll make one! For CC hunting: You want to start over @bionicfinds and raid their page for everything useful you need for your save. That's where I began compiling my CC hoard; they have a ton of cool things that can get you started. Everything listed below is right off the top of my head and I am admittedly an extremely scatterbrained person lol but if I think of anything else I can add I might make a separate post or you can always come back and ask, I don't mind! BUILD-BUY GEMS: @hamsterbellbelle and @moonbiscuitsims are my go-to staples and immediate favorites, and MoonBiscuit also does amazing conversions for CAS as well! @radioactivedotcom has good sci-fi sets, clutter, and little details that will make your build feel more lifelike and fleshed out, and I've also raided through Old/Lost CC Folders for content from Rumoruka Raizon and S1MEUNHO (Their hacker cave and city tracer sets in particular). I also have a PINTEREST where I share boards that have CC on it if you want to go raid that! NICKNAME has really good holograms/cyberpunk decor and there's a really cool set by @strangestorytellersims that I get a TON of use out of. HexTotem91 is another good one for decor and @siliconesims makes good stuff for build/buy INCLUDING full builds you can use and their complete override of San Myshuno that turns it into Night City. I cannot recommend that override *enough*.

CAS NECESSITIES: I already mentioned Moonbiscuit's cool things but another creator you want to check out for really good cyberpunk conversions is @satterlly. @natalia-auditore and @prowofligate are must have's for cyberware along with Moonbiscuit, You can find Natalia's cyberware sets HERE AND HERE. The robotic limbs I use are from TSR's CyFi collection by @evilquinzel, they another must-have for my cybernetically enhanced sims. I use both those and the steampunk mechanical arms/legs to give me some variation in looks so everybody's not running around with the same exact pieces on. @cursedbeasts-cc also has really good cyborg CC in tattoos and the cybernetic optic implants I used to make my Maelstrom Sim! (I layered those over Moonbiscuit's Voodoo Boys skull cyberware tattoo to make the face plate.) For male hair that's punk and cool you want to go visit @aniraklova, who also makes really good clothes that can be mix and match-ed for great cyberpunk looks. I also use @johnnysimmer hair for a lot of my male sims and @leahlillith for my female sims. @ashwwa makes some of my favorite accessories that I've downloaded, be sure to check them out too! I hope that's enough to get you going, let me know if you need anything else! *My PRO-TIP for perma-paywalled CC or lost content that's been abandoned and sometimes deleted is to type in the file you want into a google search followed immediately by "simfileshare" (EXAMPLE: "Toskasims simfileshare"). You're going to find a lot of stuff doing that that might otherwise have ended in dead/broken links or made completely inaccessible otherwise.

💰 TEN FACTS ABOUT ANTON ‘MIDAS’ GOULD 💰

1️⃣ Midas might have a side hustle moonlighting as a bio-mechanic that services and maintains synthetic joytoys but he is not one of those gross losers that dreams about having a robot girlfriend completely under his control – he’s the only one in the Main Cast that actually has a healthy, stable, normal long-term committed relationship which has lasted for two and a half years (so far). 

2️⃣ His girlfriend’s name is Bria Nichols. She’s a cloudcore/kawaii girly that stars in cutesy, glittery, pastel-soaked, fashion-focused braindance short films (which her techie boyfriend meticulously edits for her to make them perfect). Anton really loves the fact that she’s into cute shit and he is personally, shamelessly responsible for her having a literal mountain of plushies and trinkets. If Labubus were a thing in this universe she would have to have a million of them and he would buy her a million and ten.

3️⃣ He’s an “I work best under extreme pressure so I have to wait to do work projects until I’m running out of time which will create extreme pressure” procrastinator. His professional life is basically governed by the I have plenty of time-to-ShitShitSHIT pipeline, but he makes having the worst time management skills on earth work for him and has never missed a deadline. He really does work best under pressure.

4️⃣ Unlike a lot of contract hires stalking the streets of Night City, looking to make a name for themselves, Midas never set out to make bank on a criminal empire. He’s just a techie that wants to be his own boss and make his own schedule instead of suffering complete burnout working 100+ hours a week at some soul-devouring corporation like the rest of his peers. It just so happens that criminals pay really really well for modded weapons and tech upgrades and he’s not morally opposed to taking their money (for the most part, see #7). He’s not morally opposed to taking Corpo money either, they just can’t tell him what to do and when to do it. He’s 100% freelance.

5️⃣Midas has lived next door to Nick Merchant for the last four years and hasn’t seen him once, even in passing. No answer when he knocked on the door a few times, either. Midas may have started the rumor going around their megabuilding’s tri-block that Unit 1198 is haunted and he may have made up a very entertaining bullshit story about a data-stealing corpo-in-hiding getting murdered in that apartment by an entire squad of Arasaka cyberninjas. Even more of their neighbors believe it now since the news broke about the security footage showing Saburo Arasaka’s murder being discovered on a hidden server and that’s even funnier.

6️⃣Most people would assume that his mother being a producer for Night City’s #1 Tech Review show would be the thing that got Midas plugged into the tech world– it was actually his dad’s considerably less glamorous job working as a Civil Engineer for Night Corp. Because Night City isn’t part of the NUSA and is technically its own city-state, there are almost no regulations and oversights regarding what corporations can manufacture there and Night Corp has always been the silent, secret frontrunner when it comes to technological pioneering. Their inventions get integrated into the city’s infrastructure, quietly becoming a part of every citizen’s daily life without the usual fanfare from the press or the non-stop roll-out of giant, neon promotional materials donning the sides of buildings. Midas has always been in love with the creative, innovative side of tech more than consumption of what already exists.

7️⃣One of Midas’s first experiences moving to the NID to be closer to ports and the Arasaka supply chains at the waterfront was him coming across one of Maelstrom’s torture BD/public execution victims that were left on display outside the abandoned All Foods factory. After seeing what he saw, the sheer gore and brutality, the complete lack of humanity in it, he has refused to ever associate with the gang that runs rampant across the sub-district or do anything for them professionally. Not that they really care, they have their own mad scientist techies that operate far less ethically, but it wouldn’t matter how many eddies they offered him to do a job – their money is no good. He won’t take it and he won’t work with anyone that does work with them.

8️⃣He may not be looking to date/own one of them but he’s absolutely fascinated by the androids the Tyger Claws have procured from Kabuki’s Black Market. He’s currently in the middle of trying to solve the mystery of who initially (illegally) manufactured these synthetic robo-humans (his best guess is either ZetaTech or MoorE Technologies) and has been independently compiling a whole research dossier in his ‘spare time’: full diagnostic reports on their schematics and inner workings, detailed diagrams of all the proprietary tech he’s never seen before, all the way down to cataloguing every last component of the fuel cells they use to power their biomech processes. He might be getting ideas about pioneering a whole new branch of the Ripperdoc trade if these things become more mainstream. 

9️⃣Apart from internal tech and his optic implants, Midas prefers working on his own cyberware instead of going to the local Ripperdoc, and he’s especially particular about being the only one to work on his hands. He’s turned them into finely-tuned, super-agile machines that can speed through delicate, intricate tasks; taking various parts of other pieces of cyberware like micro-rotors and Frankenfusing them into a custom blend of uniquely specialized ambidextrous performance-enhancing devices.

🔟He is just as interested in art as he is in tech and believes the appreciation and study of both go hand-in-hand. When he wants to be alone to think and exist somewhere he can’t be found immediately, he turns off his holophone link, slips into one of the fancy art galleries near Corpo Plaza, and sits there for hours.

✧ Currently Watching: On Youtube: “The Most Disturbing Half Life 2 Mod”. I’ve never played Half Life 2. Never even played Half Life 1, I don’t even know what it’s about, why am I watching this. Last Real Show I watched: An AMC original series called Pantheon on Netflix. Really good if you like Sci-Fi with a hint of Supernatural stuff like Ghosts in the Machine / digital consciousness uploads. Also clones. There’s a clone.

✧ Sweet, Savory or Sour: Depends on my mood! I like savoury snacks, and I do love me a little sweet treat (has to be sugarless though, because diabetic). My favorite treat lately has been fresh blueberries dumped into scoops of Zero Sugar Cool Whip/Sugar-Free Cheesecake flavored Jell-O Pudding mixed together. Guilt-Free blood sugar-friendly blueberry cheesecake!

✧ Currently Reading: I finished re-reading Neuromancer again (for lore and characterization purposes) so I’m getting ready to start Count Zero. 

✧ Current Obsession: Sci Fi and Cyberpunk stuff (obviously), The Sprawl Trilogy (see Currently Reading), Really into the lore of the Enigma Studios games like The Enigma Machine, Mothered, and Echostasis, those are cool as heck. 

✧ Last Google Search: “Caspian Persona” because I forgot that the series was called Pantheon and mistakenly tried to find an AMC series called Persona (it doesn’t exist). 🚕 TEN FACTS ABOUT KUIPER 'BOOH' NGATIPA 🚕

1️⃣ Kuiper and her family are originally from New Zealand. Like most island nations, irreversible climate change in the 2060s wiped it off the face of the map thanks to a devastating tsunami and her parents were forced to evacuate when Kuiper was a toddler. After a couple years of the nomad life in Australia, the Ngatipas finally settled on the west coast of North America when her father’s academic expertise led to a job offer in Night City.

2️⃣Her nickname, BOOH, came from regulars at the Afterlife who were listening to a report of a high-speed chase over the NCPD scanner as a source of bar entertainment: the incident where she quite literally ran over a cop. B.O.O.H. is NPCD shorthand for “bat out of hell.”

3️⃣Her real given name comes from the Kuiper Asteroid Belt. Her dad is an astronomy professor at Night City University and a certified space-obsessed nerd, so she was always going to have a space-themed name. 

4️⃣The biggest heist she ever pulled off was stealing an NPCD aerodyne and crashing it through a building under construction in Corpo Plaza to destroy evidence for a merc that was paying her a couple thousand eddies to cover up his break-in. She mostly did this job for fun, it wasn’t about the money. 

5️⃣She might not be directly gang affiliated, but Kuiper is friends and an ally to the working girls and boys from The Mox. They’re the only people in Night City that don’t have to negotiate payment for rides; when she gets a call, she drops whatever she’s doing and shows up. She does not play about keeping them safe and she does not work with Tyger Claws.

6️⃣Kuiper started stealing cars and going on joyrides when she was nine years old and still had to sit on a book to see over the wheel. Her parents both having time-consuming careers gave her a lot of unsupervised free time running the streets and her restless ADHD excitement-seeking brain quickly found trouble without need of anyone else’s influence.

7️⃣ She is classified as a techie because she’s a really gifted self-taught mechanic. Her getting grounded regularly led to long hours of boredom in Night City U’s library where her dad could at least attempt to watch her: naturally, she started looking at car manuals in the Mechanical Engineering section. Hyperfixated and fascinated, it didn’t take her long to learn the ins and outs of every available make and model.

8️⃣ To this day, Kuiper does not have an actual legal driver’s license. She never saw the point in getting one when she already won a car in a street race so she didn’t need it to buy a car… and she never had any intention of actually stopping when pulled over, so why spend eddies on something completely useless? She’s got a Night Citizen ID and a file in the CitiNet database but that’s it.

9️⃣ Kuiper came in at a very close second place during the Wraith’s Death-Match Race along the Old Arasaka Waterfront. She owns an illegally modded Quadra with a gearshift-controlled rooftop rack holding two light machine guns filled with explosive rounds. This way she can simultaneously shoot and drive way more efficiently. 🔟Her apartment might appear much more clean and put together than Nick’s, but she absolutely lives like a little chaos swamp goblin too. Fast food and junk food all day everyday, in pajamas for as long as she can possibly wear them, and the most fucked up sleep schedule you ever saw in your life. She has shown up to jobs before in her pj’s and she will again.

It has been a good minute since we’ve heard about my favorite little guy, so we’ll circle back to him and give him 10 Facts!

💾 TEN FACTS ABOUT NICK ‘MOLOTOV’ MERCHANT 💾

1️⃣ His father Russ is a pretty high-ranking agent at NetWatch so Nick was of course enrolled in the NetWatch Junior Agent Training Academy during his school years. 

2️⃣ He was in the top 10% of his class but quit school during an “extended medical hiatus.” 

3️⃣ It was during his months-long stay in the Trauma Center that Nick and his father had the argument that led to him getting disowned.

4️⃣  Immediately after that fight, Nick cut off all contact with both parents and his sister, unceremoniously dropped out of the JATA via text message, and disappeared before he could be thrown out of the hospital anyway –  his father cut him off from the family insurance almost immediately with no warning before he could fully recover from his injuries. No one’s seen him since.

5️⃣ Nick has refused to take any Ripperdoc up on the offer for skin mods that would completely restore his burn scars. He doesn’t want to forget what that fucker did. 

6️⃣Nick’s used to waking up nauseous and can’t really eat breakfast ever. His first “meal” of the day is a cup or two of coffee, a can of ChroManticore, and two or three (or four) cigarettes. Hot caffeine, cold caffeine, nicotine. 

7️⃣ When Nick feels stressed, his hands are all over his face; usually pressing the tip of his index finger against the inner corner of his right eye to relieve the pressure.

8️⃣Nick’s rather extensive knowledge of NetWatch Policy and the security measures used by corporate banking systems make him a particularly slippery and savvy thief. He knows nothing under 5,000 eddies even gets flagged if taken from certain offshore tax shelters and he never steals more than that unless it’s for a contract.

9️⃣Nick is so anxious and uncomfortable everywhere but his apartment and the one bar he likes that he can’t be trusted in nightclubs: Nick will ingest anything handed to him without even asking what it is or what it does. 

🔟His voice claim is Luke Roberts AKA James Sunderland from the Bloober Silent Hill 2 Remake.

Had to dig deep since the release of the character pages so I’m not just repeating stuff that’s already been filed lol It’s time for my atrocity-committing, murderer-for-hire, I-support-Women’s-Wrongs babygirl with an active, vigilant bitch face that never rests! All of Night City wants to know… Who’s Lila?

🧨TEN FACTS ABOUT LILA ‘ELLSY’ HORVATH🧨

1️⃣Lila came into contact with Rourke after the successful completion of her first big Solo heist: a full-scale raid on a MiliTech warehouse in Arroyo where several Top Secret tech prototypes were being kept in Max Security mobile vaults. That much damage and theft perpetrated by a lone unknown mercenary toting a gun bigger than she is? Better to bring that kinda threat in-house where Corporate can keep an eye on her.

2️⃣ Her story is very similar to Nick’s in that on paper, she also comes from a “good family” with Megacorp-affiliated parents… but that’s where the similarities between them end. Nick’s folks were at least somewhat decent when it came to being parents; they wanted him to get off drugs and put The Incident behind him so he could keep training to be a Netwatch agent. Live the upstanding, good life they’d always planned for him. Lila’s parents never have been who they said they were, didn’t even pretend to have a life planned out for her, nor did they ever display any familial affection for their daughter, even for show. It was always understood between all three of them that Lila was never anything more than a corporate asset: a lab rat to test Gene Enhancement tech on when the experiments Dr. Horvath headed progressed into the human-testing phase of clinical trials. She’s more of a Blade Runner-style bioengineered Replicant than she is a regular person. (Though that’s not an exact comparison.)

3️⃣She was never supposed to leave the Black Site lab out in the Badlands between Night City and the LA Metroplex once her father had her moved there, but gene-splicing Lila repeatedly since conception to make a prototype blueprint for the “Human+ Project” came with drawbacks Dr. Horvath did not initially account for. Namely the fact that in 2077, she all too easily killed every last security guard and scientist on the R&D team that worked under her father, then escaped containment in the middle of the night. Once she was out of her sterile white clinical prison, she headed for the nearest nomad camp and paid off the Aldecaldos to smuggle her into Night City with a stolen cred chip taken off a dead scientist.

4️⃣ The only one that’s been deluded into thinking Lila was 100% successful in her escape attempt is Lila. BioTechnica knows exactly where their little clone is, what she’s doing, everyone she’s ever worked with and who she works for. The higher ups at the corporation have been making lemonade out of “unfortunate variable” lemons by throwing more funding and manpower at Dr. Horvath’s secret illegal Gene Tech project still running out of So-Cal; essentially letting her run free in a double blind real-world Human+ trial. Every movement, every thought, every ounce of biometric data is secretly catalogued by her cyberware and sent back to Dr. Horvath. She’s still imprisoned, she just can’t see the walls anymore.

5️⃣ While most solos in Night City deeply mourned the loss of the Queen of the Afterlife when she was killed during V’s final raid on Arasaka Tower, Lila wasn’t exactly spending 2078 slamming back drinks in Rogue Amendiares’s honor. “I didn’t like the shifty bitch the second I met her. The only thing that was ever useful about her was her contact list and I didn’t need that even when she was alive.”

6️⃣ She is a certified Kerry Eurodyne stan after consuming as much ‘normal person pop culture’ as she possibly could the instant she was settled in the city. She has posters in her apartment, she’s bought every album, she’s saving up to actually go to one of his concerts, and the only reason she does show up to the Afterlife on occasion is because the guy that owns the bar now is married to Kerry Eurodyne and she might see him there. Not that she’d try to talk to him or ask for an autograph or bother him or anything, that would be awkward and lame, but imagine being in the same room, holy shit that would be so cool. 

7️⃣Lila can’t stand fully interfacing with the Net. She has enough problems with depersonalization sometimes and the idea of her consciousness being outside her body, even partially, for any length of time disturbs her. She tried to learn basic netrunning so she could truly work alone for certain jobs and not need collaborators but she gave up almost immediately, deciding to stick to meatspace and guns and things that are concrete in existence. It’s for this exact reason that she also cannot stand BrainDance tech and won’t use it. EVER.

8️⃣Speaking of things Lila hates, needless to say her stance on the Meat vs. Metal debate is a lot more complex and nuanced than just simply weighing the pros and cons of each and picking a side. Those Uncanny Valley androids that started popping up out of nowhere over the past year? Kill it with fire. It doesn’t matter that they exist concretely, they’re the opposite side of the same coin when it comes to all the mad scientist shit BioTechnica does outside the public eye and she wants nothing to do with that. She doesn’t like Delamain (The AI Taxi Service) either, he’s creepy.

9️⃣ No one else has ever been inside Lila’s apartment since the day she moved into it; not even Rourke is allowed to just show up and expect to be let inside. She is so territorial about her space that the four walls surrounding her shitty little capsule rental border on being held sacred, thus she will only use public places to meet up with contacts. When more levels of privacy and discretion are required for a job, she’ll rent out a temporary address at a local pod hotel for however long she’s working, but no one is invited into her house.

 🔟Because there was a screen running constant BioTechnica propaganda films in her cell in the Badlands lab, Lila can’t sleep without looping one of their TV ads she recorded to play all night. The dark circles under her eyes aren’t just for edgy fashion, she rarely sleeps more than three hours at a time because the only thing that makes her feel regulated, grounded and relaxed enough to get some rest also makes her skin crawl.
