@20970 I really hope you’re ok and that things improve for you soon.

I have sent in some pretty negative things about Halestorm over the years, mainly because I feel that they are not using their full potential. I love Lzzy as a person and think that her voice is the bands strongest asset, when it comes to their lyrics I feel that they are pretty weak, and that their ballads such as Break In, Beautiful With You, and  In Your Room are the strongest in that area. Personally I would love to see them create more like it, because if they did I feel as if I would like them more, and be able to take them more seriously as artists.

@20982 Thank you for your concern, it means a lot <3.

Your criticisms on Halestorm are valid, I personally prefer their heavier songs but that’s just my personal taste. But I have a feeling since they’re writing their next album during self-isolation there could be a lot more heartfelt ballads on there, like Break In or Dear Daughter. Deep and poetic lyrics have never been a strong factor in whether I like a song or a band personally, but lyrics in songs like Heart of Novocaine and Break In I do really like more than other songs I may prefer musically.
