@20kmg idk if i want to cry in laughter or cry in disappointment but i was in the middle of answering your ask when it.... disappeared. (did i just see tumblr eating an ask in action?) but anyway!!
daisies: what is the greatest accomplishment of your life?
accomplishments come in the small things for me so... im not sure i can really state one greatest achievement :( accomplishments to me are getting out of the house, cleaning up my room, waking up early.... it’s really in the smallest of things!!

this is actually a bible verse!! “set your mind on things above, not on earthly things.” i have an artwork of this verse framed on my table gifted by a friend and i always feel more centered when i read it. ah, im not sure if i can word my thoughts well but basically, it’s a reminder for me to live a life that is not chained to worldly standards and to focus on things that really matter. one example in particular: growing up, i used to equate my grades to my worth as a person so when i used to get bad grades, i really believed that im not worth being liked by other people and see myself as a failure. i’ve come a long way since then though and i have gotten rid of that kind of thinking :) it’s a beautiful verse, really!! i just cant seem to articulate my thoughts to justify that lol :(
