For the gain, I would expect to get, paying double was not going to happen. But having thought about this, I thought I would try and overclock the 2133mhz RAM and see what I could get out of it.With very little knowledge of overclocking DDR4 I went into the BIOS and loosened off the timings, added some voltage and upped the clocks to see what was my overclocking ceiling based on my lack of experience in the area.To my surprise, the RAM actually did pretty well! 2666, 2733, 2800 and more were easy to get and ran stable enough to run a few games and online benchmarks. This was just for fun so I didn't give it full testing in MEMTEST or anything, just waiting for a BSOD, which did eventually come when I tried 3000mhz at 1.3v and timings or 16,16,16,38 so I dialled it back down to 2933mhz which seemed to run well and gave the Userbenchmark score of being in the 100th percentile for this model of RAM! Not too shabby!Farcry 5 crashed on me a few times so I dialled it back more to 2866 (I think) with the same voltage and timings and this was great, no crashes and a bit of a speed boost for the system, and it cost me nothing! So I did pretty well for my first outing in the world of DDR4 overclocking. What do you think? Also, what experiences have you had with lower speed RAM? We would love to hear about it. Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2133 To 2933 Was Easy
