April is Autism ACCEPTANCE Month!
so i just learned this:
April is currently recognized as Autism ACCEPTANCE Month whereas it was previously observed as Autism AWARENESS Month.
awareness alone is not enough to address the challenges faced by individuals with Autism. the more inclusive and accepting society is, the more Autism will be viewed as a natural part of the human experience to foster meaningful dialogue.
