2013 was a crazy year. It started with a haircut, Henrietta's first concert (Justin Bieber), some snow and a Swedish House Mafia show. Soon I lost someone I loved, but leaned how to turn pain into art. This event also connected me to new friends and for that I am quite thankful :] My mom decided to ship me off to Europe for the summer. After getting a passport, I lived out of my backpack for three months, seeing places I had only ever dreamed of. I fell I love with the world. There was even a trip to Philip Tracy in there! I saw beautiful sunsets, met beautiful people, and drank mixed drinks from a can! Upon returning to NYC, I entered my first semester of fashion design and created my first collection. I attended NYFW for the first time and moved into an apartment in Chelsea like a real adult. I discovered the art of pattern making and the miracles of precision. I milliner-ed some hats and eventually learned how to draw fashion figures (possibly the biggest accomplishment!). I lost another friend later on, but had the excitement of school to keep me distracted as well as many new friendships. Overall, this year has had it's ups and downs. I believe everything happens for a reason. I must live life to the fullest because the is no telling how long we have. Happy new year! Welcome, 2014! #21stYear #GonnaBeALegalDrinker
