Day 21: Your favorite subject to study and why?
I'm a college student now and actually I have 4 favorite subjects namely Philosophy, Ethics, Economics and Psychology. These are the subjects that really makes me alive. First is Philosophy. Philosophy of Man, Philosophy of things or any kind of Philosophy really catches my attention. I don't know why but there is something about this subject that really attracts me and make me feel like "omg i need to know this" or "i need to hear this!" naaaah. But, I really like this subject matter and I think that studying this kind of matter would be really really helpful not just for a student to pass but also for a person to know and to realize the things that he or she must know and realize. Second is Ethics. Ethics is one of the best subject I have taken up in my stay in Mapua. Ethics for me is something that we must take in consideration because ethics will definitely teach you the right morals that we should have. It will also make you realize the morality of the things that you are doing or the things that you will be doing. This subject also serves as a guide in making decisions and weighing things. Third is Economics. Well, Economics has been one of my favorite subject even when I'm still in highschool. I love talking about certain things that concerns our society and I love to interpret things. Studying Economics is something that could really help an individual to fully understand the things that are happening not only in our society but instead in the whole country itself. Economics is a kind of subject that teaches students how to become aware and educated in the things that are happening in our country. It will also help an individual to think and re-think the decisions that our government are making. It can also help us and teach us how to analyze and critically understand stuffs like taxes, business, different organizations, how to think critically and many more. It will not only teach you how to solve certain taxes or how to build a good business but it will also guide you in living your life better. This is why I really like this subject and I think it is really a must to study subjects like this one especially on college. Last but not the least is Psychology. This is really one o my ever favorite since I am supposed to take up B.S Psychology at Far Eastern University. This was really my dream course but some sort of wind brought me here in the field of communication. But it doesn't matter anyway since communication is also something that really fascinates me and it has always been my dream ever since I was a child to work as a communicator or a broadcaster or something similar to that. Anyway, I'm a fan of Psychology as in! Psychology for me is a very interesting subject matter since it talks about the human body to be specific the human mind and brain. It's just so interesting how psychologist and psychiatrist can study the human behavior by just merely talking to them or observing some kind of patients. And If ever I'll be given the chance to take up another course? Definitely, Psychology would be on the top of my list. These are the subjects that really interest me and really captivates me personally. And I do think that if people would see this subjects the way I see it then it would be really really great. That's all. Nuff saaaaaid. :)
