February Episode: Captains of Industry
I am pleased to kick off the channel with my absolute favorite pairing. I grew up with these gentlemen, have seen and read many incarnations, but none have infatuated me quite as much recently as BBC’s front runner show Sherlock. It only seems fitting that they are the inspiration for this coming month.
There are many AU’s (Alternate Reality/Alternate Meetings) within the fandom, but there are three that are very close to my heart. This is one of those. These gents couldn’t be any more quaint or more perfectly realized in this wonderful ongoing series. They both have their imperfections, but just like a good pastry, all of their individual parts come together perfectly.
Please feel free to read and give the author some love.

Captains of Industry is the most hipster of Melbourne hipster cafes. It's bespoke suits, artisan shoes, sculpted facial hair and the most exquisite food and coffee all the way. Sherlock Holmes, Digital Security Consultant, has become a regular patron. And one day, perhaps one day soon, he will work out how to successfully flirt with the hot barista, John Watson.

no no, i think that sherlock's early actions are very selfish, and i think that s3 is about sherlock recognizing that his previous selfish actions caused john a great deal of pain and that he cares so much about john that he now puts john ahead of himself, it's part of his huge character arc... also, sherlock was never evil, i mean even in the course of the same episode when sherlock and mary have both murdered people (or tried to, on mary's part) their motivations were wildly different, and that's an intentional contrast made by the narrative... s3 is full of compare and contrast between sherlock and mary, which is also an intentional narrative choice, which of course must make a viewer ask "why" and the simplest answer is "because john will have to choose between them" BUT ANYWAY I DID SAY I WAS GOING TO BED AND I AM GOING NOW I SWEAR
