Each picture I capture is a piece of history I am giving back to my people, it’s a reminder that no matter how much PAIN & STRUGGLE we go through, We find ways to shine & rise above it. Society wants equality but that can never truly happen until my people have something of their own. My documentations are moments for my people to Embrace & feel good about. My documentations are awareness so my people can have some guidance & a blueprint to create from. My documentations are examples of strength & Love my people have inside of them despite all the negative perceptions society throws their way. My documentations are for the people living in the projects without any resources feeling trapped and hopeless. My mission is to show my people that we all share the same struggle & love & to realize what makes us so POWERFUL is that we are creating our lives daily from NOTHING. NEVER FORGET THAT.
