The sun hung high in the sky, blissfully free from the shadow of clouds; January in Scotland’s highlands still made sure to keep the air cold and crispy, but Glenda figured that as far as she did her best to catch some sunrays, she would be okay. Besides, heating charms were simple, even for her mediocre skills in that particular subject. However, for now she was content with the cool breeze against her cheek and the sunshine in her eyes.
Glenda sat on a wooden bench, one hand holding a large cup of coffee (and if there was a chance it was spiked with some unfortunately cheap whiskey, well, that was her business only) and the other a copy of Bathilda Bagshot’s Decline of Pagan Magic. In all honesty, she should have her nose burried in Advanced Potion-Making, considering the test scheduled for the day after tomorrow, but she couldn’t quite bring herself to waste such a nice sunny day on forcing herself to study when doing some recreational reading in the courtyard was an option. Just as she absentmindedly put the cup down on the bench beside her to tighten the blue and bronze scarf around her throat, a figure paused in front of her, suddenly cutting off the warmth coming from the sunrays no longer reaching her.
Her eyes shot up as she blinked at the person, looking a bit surprised. “Um - sorry, but could you perhaps move just a bit to the side?”
