Remus listened to the girl, nodding slightly as she nervously spoke. He smiled at her nervous chuckle and ran a hand over his face. “I’m not going to take any points away from you, that’s for teachers to do and I’m never going to be a teacher.” He smirked at her.
He stood up straight and looked over her, “Right, so what we can do as my patrol is nearly over, we could both go outside and get some fresh air for about 15 minutes and on my way back to my dorm after finishing my patrol I could drop you off at your common room. So that if we meet anyone else, there is less chance of you getting caught as I can explain that I already deducted house points when in fact I haven’t.” Remus said in a very long winded fashion.
“Sound good to you?” He asked already heading towards the stairs to head towards the main entrance hall.
For a very long moment, Glenda simply blinked at Remus. “Oh.” That was...an unexpectedly positive outcome of the situation. A wide smile quickly took over her features - she knew there was a reason she had always liked the boy.
“That..that would be great, thank you,” she said, happy that everything turned out to be okay, but still somewhat on the edge, as if she was expecting him to change his mind any second now. She quickly caught up to his step, sending him a warm smile. “I know my common room is not exactly...on your way,” Glenda started, knowing she was heavily toning down the fact it was on the other damn end of the castle. “But I really appreciate it, it’s very kind of you to let me bother you like this,” she added with a light chuckle even though she actually did kind of feel like a bother.
She stayed quiet for a while until they reached the Entrance Hall and the moment there was no longer a ceiling above her she lifted her face up to the sky and smiled. “It’s not that I don’t love the castle, because I do, very much so,” she started calmly, “but there’s something incredibly relaxing about not having walls around you, don’t you think?” She felt, sometimes, that she could only breathe freely when she was outside, which was one of the reasons for her nightly strolls. “It’s sort of a pity we can’t see the stars so well because the moon is so big tonight, but it’s beautiful, anyway.”
