Skype in the dorm room.
Class is dismissed. Don't forget there is a ten page paper due at the end of the week on current politics. The teacher at the Academy informed her class as she was already on her feet. "Current politics? Here is a thought, let the kids live a life without secret service," Tara laughed to her best friend in the class. You coming to the end of semester party tonight girl? She just shrugged her shoulders and slung her book bag over her shoulder as the two girls walked out of their last class for the day. "I don't know. I need to start that paper," Tara saw her friend open her mouth to lecture her, "before you start, some of my best work comes out of procrastination. Don't judge." Tara just smiled a guilty and innocent smile at her friend while they walked along the gardens towards the dormitory of their prep school. Girl, you have got to get out and get a social life. All you do is study and stay in that dorm. She shrugged her shoulders and walked into her room, grateful that her roommate wasn't there yet. "I know I know. I'll be there. tonight. I swear it," Tara smiled and closed the door behind her. "I do get out. Just not necessarily parties and school stuff," she told herself in front of her mirror. She pulled her shirt over her head and tossed it in the laundry basket in the corner, followed by stepping out of her uniform skirt. She quickly changed into a pair of white jeans, and a dark blue silk tank top. Sitting down in front of her computer she turned it on and sees that she has three missed calls on skype and see's that she has one from her mother, father, and grandfather. "Well I have been missed," she said to herself and logged on to skype, but clicked on face book to browse her time line. Tara found a diet coke in the corner of her desk and unscrewed the cap, tilted her blonde head back and guzzled it half down while waiting for something to spark her interest, someone, or anything to get her out of going to that party.
An hour later, Tara was dressed in white jeans and a blue, flowery blouse and sitting at an outdoor cafe facing the street. She slid her right hand in her right jeans front pocket and pulled out her Samsung Galaxy phone. After pressing the camera button, she held it up in front of her and snapped a picture. Her proof to her friend that she is out side the halls of dalton academy. "Garden house salad with blue cheese on the side and a um," Tara told the waiter that approached her table at the same time that she heard a herd of motorcycles. Her eyes shifted from the group of bikes and back to the waiter. "Hey glass of your red wine." Tara smiled at her sudden change of drink choice. Instead of her usual diet coke. The group of motorcycles stopped in the middle of the street after the waiter disappeared into the cafe to place her order. Tara stood up suddenly in her place at the table. "That isn't a parking spot! That is the middle of the street." She yelled out.
