i started to type chapter 7 into google docs
i managed 24 words, then i had to email my beta and ask about a word/thing
and i can't continue until she replies because i may have to rewrite a couple of things in the scene if she says no
Concrete Bond
So Bookophilia (bookstore in Kingston, Jamaica) has a Really Really Short 24-word story competition that makes my 62-word competition seem like no challenge at all. Even so, I wrote two stories but you can only enter one. Here is the one I didn't enter.

The cement wasn’t set when she stepped into his space. She sunk slowly. When it came time to leave she couldn’t. She was stuck.
