Hi! I have a quick question about Meikido. I was considering in using this site and was wondering which would be the cheapest shipping method?

Hey! Hope you don’t mind me answering publicly, but I figure other folks might have similar questions.

So one of the nice things about Meikido is that they ship internationally, so you don’t really need a proxy. I’ve personally only shipped Surface Mail or EMS from them. Surface is cheapest but the downside is that it takes  f o r e v e r  to arrive (about 6 weeks from Tokyo to LA!). In comparison EMS is much faster—sometimes as fast as 4 days—but  also considerably more expensive.

To compare, a package of 20 or so books (~2.5kg) will cost about $25 with Surface, or $50 with EMS. BUT if you’re only getting a few books—say less than 5—then EMS can potentially be cheaper than Surface Mail or Air Mail. Yeah, I know, it’s weird.

Personally I just stick with EMS. Even though you’re paying more for shipping, it’s balanced out by the fact that the books on Meikido are so damn cheap since they’re used.

Hahhh well it was a pretty interesting read but it probably wasn't one of my favorites? Possibly because while I love a good romcom I also like Erik being just a bit bad and he was hardly that at all. He was just sort ofa  curmudgeon WHICH MADE HIM EVEN MORE LIKE ALBERT AND THERE WERE NO ALBERT HOT PANTS. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW THAT UPSETS ME.

yes we are, of course! it’s just chapter 3 has 5 extra pages about the drama CD of some series which are loaded with text so the translator asked for a few more days! if it takes too long, we will have chap3 done first then release the extra later so please wait for a little more!
