Attention to Detail

A program doesn't work quite like it should, And I cannot find a guide on how to fix it. I scour the internet, Spend hours I do not have on a cent of functionality, Just so things can be how they were, Just so I can retain a speck of familiarity In a sea of change and updates. It is pointed out that I misread the title and saved the wrong shortcut.

A form does not submit correctly, Stuck in a purgatory of "please wait", Exiled to digital bureaucracy and mis-placed files. Reloading does nothing, And slowly it breaks. I wipe the cache, Blow off the dust bunnies and rinse off the sweat, And it goes through like magic.

I take a moment to breathe, To revel in the way things should be, In the quiet successes too humble to shout. It is comfortable, And as with so much of life, It's the little things.
