“Halloween decorating is getting out of hand,” Dean muttered, steering the Impala slowly through a street clogged with costumed kids.
Sam chuckled incredulously, “How so?”
“When we were kids, it was all hand carved pumpkins and construction paper cutouts.” Irritably, Dean waved at the yards of the houses along the street, many sporting inflatable horrors and orange and purple string lights. “It’s like people have forgotten the reason for the season!”
“And that would be?”
Dean parked the car and tossed Sam a pillowcase. “Free candy, of course,”
“Dean, we’re too old to Trick-or-Treat.”
“Never too old, Sammy. Let’s go!”
