This wasn't really funny like the previous episodes so as far as I'm concerned this is the first ever bad episode of Peak Nare Peak Nare.
Daifuku was so stalwart this episode
Also this episode was sort of epic
Through a series of MAL and MAL graph clickthroughs I remembered that Bunny Girl Senpai is a series that exists and subsequently learned that the 2 movies we've had in the time since Dreaming Girl are both out on nyaa, and to that end hey I grabbed them. One down. It was fine. Kaede's arc was probably the best bit of the original series and this is just a reasonably emotionally compelling followup to all of that, with very little puberty syndrome or lame sci-fi shit dragging it down. Still a little on the boring side but not bad.
I had it in mind beforehand that I'd watch this and probably hate it and not bother with the next movie but that was okay enough to where I think I'll give it a shot. And at that point maybe I'll also watch the next TV season since we know that's coming in 2025. Like this next movie adapts volume 9 of the light novels and said light novels are ending with their 15th volume so I feel like you get 2 more seasons of anime and then it's a complete adaptation. And those are rare enough to where fuck it, like why not just follow through with them. I think I've mostly gotten over my completionism syndrome for anime but if I'm already pretty far in an adaptation and I realise that it'll genuinely end somewhat soon then I think it's just fun to experience the event, you know? Or something. Maybe when the TV season returns I drop that. Or maybe I hate the next movie so much that I give up then as well. Truly, who knows.
Mostly just sorta boring I think. At least I'm current now. Not gonna definitively claim I'll watch the next season when it starts but like, maybe.
I was checking this out on Steam and curious about what some of the DLC had, and in looking it up found that the game was discounted on the Bandai Namco store specifically. They then worried the absolute shit out of me as I was buying it since it seems they just don't support Firefox such that I placed my order twice without it ever actually working, only to finally relent when I did it on Chrome - although they still took about 10 minutes to send me my Steam key. But it's all good, there have been no double or triple payments or anything, all is well in the world.
The time is nigh
This show is kind of dumb honestly but at least I get to look at her most weeks
