Today was one hundred percent the best day of summer, so far.
I got up super early (7am) and slowly prepped myself to go to Chloe's/Scarlett's/Prom. I dashed to Tesco to get two disposable cameras and then went to the station. I got a coffee to get me hyped and there was the regular coffee man and he's just such a babe and he calls me young lady and smiles, ah man what a cutie. Anyway eventually I got to Chloe's and we had to wait for Kavina and Emily to arrive. She told me c all about her day with Cian and Kavina and it sounded so nice and I'm just so happy Chloe is getting guy friends because I think it's making her less scared/stressed and a lot happier. In another way to pass the time we practiced our slut dropping and we were both horrible. Chloe tried doing a sexy slide back up but stepped back and stacked it over a bad and fell onto the bed. Clearly sexy is the look that happened for her.
Finally Kavina and Emily turned up and we headed off to Scarlett's. They foiund a dog neck thing, which protects them when they're injured and for fun I put it on and we sent Snapchats to everyone, we found it a lot funnier than we should have. On the car journey up there we got hyped by listening to Capital and sending Lizzy's song suggestions for the playlist for the after party.
When we got to Scarlett's we saw all the make up that was set out, Scareltt had gone all out. we had some fruity drinks in classy glasses and she showed us the white back drop for the pictures later on. we just chilled about the house and practiced walking around in heels, I was completely awful. Alex (scarlett's dad) rocked up with bags of food and left it with us and it was glorious.
We ended up watching Sky High which is actually now one of my fave films even though it is entirely awful, but it's just so cute and idc. When we'd finished the film Scarlett and Kavina returned with Holly and she was so loving it. We just pissed about for a bit and listened to the music channels to get in the mood but the only songs that seemed to be playing was "Get Lucky" and "La La La" so eventually we switched it off. Luckily by that point we were all hyped.
Around half 4 we began getting ready and it was excruciating. Complete havoc everywhere. Emily was practicing her eye make up by watching you tube make up tutorials and then Harriett tried to help her but did her eyeliner horrendously. It was all a bit panicky but eventually (around 7) we were all ready.
Everyone looked so beautiful and it was so cute. We took some photos on the white background and at this point everyone was loving it and we all hopped into the cars. Aw Alex had filled the cars with balloons and put streamers on them. Holly, Emily, Scarlett and I got in Alex’s car and we sang along to Magic song and played around with the balloons
Finally we arrived at school. We saw the bouncers and it was so jokes because they confiscated someone’s alcohol but they were quite chill because they let people bring it in as long as they left it in their bag and drank it at the after party. When I passed the doors I saw Jonsy and she said I looked nice and we hugged and it was cute.
There was a red carpet into the hall and it was so exciting because music was playing. So many people said I looked nice and it made me so happy because I really wanted to look nice for prom and that was one of my main goals for going on a diet.
Prom was actually really great, the DJ played some pretty great songs. I spent a lot of the time pondering around dancing with everyone and takin pictures. Harriett and I had a cute slow dance as per. I took a lot of picture in the photo booth.
There was one point where I was dancing with Molly and it was getting pretty intense like bodies pressed, faces pretty close and fookin Louisa walks over and I was like OMG LOUISA STOP COCK BLOCKING, well I wasn’t but that’s what I was thinking, like she’s always there when I don’t want her to.
But yeah I danced with a lot of people and at one point Louisa and I rapped to Empire State of Mind again. Probably one of the best moments of prom was when Holly and Scarlett did the Single Ladies dance and everyone crowded round and Miss Morley and Jonsy watched. After they’d finished their dance Colm joined Holly and they basically had a dance battle and it was hilarious, it was so just so great.
Everyone was so hyped and like loving it without alcohol which was so good because it was prom and we didn’t want to be lagging but we were still loving life. At one point Latch came on and I was ready for it because it’s my jam and I was slut dropping and it was fabulous all round.
Near the end everyone had their heels off and Holly, Jonsy and I got into the photo booth and the pictures are bare cute, even though I don’t know where the copy of it’s gone. At one point Kavina, Chloe, Holly and I were in the toilet and there was a couple banging in the toilet and Kavina and Chloe were making banging actions and it was jokes.
The last song was Don’t Stop Believing and it was the sickest thing. We all stood in a massive circle and were screaming along. People started moving towards the centre of the circle and Holly and I went in the middle and started spinning around like idiots and eventually it was just a massive group of us jumping up and down like idiots screaming along to the song. When we were screaming I had the realization it was nearly 2 years to the day that we’d been to Glee Live so all the original Glee gals had a massive groups hug and sang even louder, it was so fucking great.
After that we all rushed out because we didn’t want to clean up because we wanted to get the after party straight away. We collected the gifts from outside and signed the painting but I was so buzzing. We got outside and it was raining but no one really cared because we were all so excited. I got really happy because this guy called Luca recognised me from Zara’s party from six months ago.
Chloe’s parents arrived at school and Kavina, Emily and I jumped into Gail’s car and we were so excited. We chatted to Gail and I’m pretty sure she thought we were lagging because we were so loud. We got to Lizzy’s and were just screaming with anticipation and we thanked Lizzy’s parents so much, like they are a gift from the gods. We all rushed upstairs to change into different shoes and to put jackets on, I borrowed Kav’s leather jacket. Holly and I grabbed our alcohol and the PARTAY BEGAN.
We sat under the gazebo for a while and just chatted and it was really cute. I think at one point I went back to the front door because bare people were there and then went back to the gazebo. To be honest from this point onwards the chronology isn’t going to be correct. I do remember that Holly and I went round the side of the house and took a video of us dancing and/or strutting and it was hilarious. Holly also snap chatted Jonny. We must have gone back inside and Holly had a shot of vodka.
At this point outside I could tell I was pretty gone and I kept slut dropping and Chloe was pissing herself of laughter at me. I pretty sure I had a chat with Molly and Zara at some point which was nice. At some point someone was like Holly is not okay and I dragged Holly with me to the grass and I took her drink away and made her drop her cookie and she ended up sitting on the grass crying because of this. Kavina gave her a motivational speech to get a grip, very similar to the one she gave to me at Greenwich Park.
Omg at one point Emily must have not been 0% with it because she was like ‘don’t go too far don’t Louisa it’ and I was like ‘are you actually saying this’.
Later on I ended up in the woody bit with Clara and Louisa. I’m pretty sure a lot of that time was spent telling Louisa she was pissed and how I wasn’t. Isabel came trotting along and knocked Louisa’s earring out and Louisa was just searching for it going on about how it was her favourite earring. Clara finally found it and Louisa was so hysterical like ‘omg clara ur my best friend omg i hate you Isabel’ it was so funny, everyone is 10x better when drunk. Everyone was covered in stinging nettle stings and Louisa got some on her butt and Clara was itching her legs, it was a really sophisticated experience.
Also in the woods Emily turned up and we did our summer hype handshake and it was bare exciting.
I don’t really remember where I was for a lot of this evening. I must have gone back inside, I passed Amy and she told me to hold her fag so I did and ended up smoking it. I passed Nomi, bottle in one hand and cigarette in the other and said like ‘YOU’RE GOING TO A CONSERVATOIRE, THAT’S SO EXCITING!’ which is probably the funniest thing I have ever said to anyone and I must have looked like a right plonker but it still makes me chuckle.
I went into the summer house and everyone was smoking and to be honest the whole of that bit is a blur. All I remember is that it was a good time and there was this guy I was trying to get with but that didn’t work out for me. He was proper hot and at one point he had his arm around my waist and I was like IM IN THERE. We walked off for a bit because I wanted to find Holly and I’m pretty sure I asked him to get with me but he was like maybe when you’re not drunk and I think he said I was probably out his league and that made me happy.
Anyway on our journey back to the house I passed Louisa and she was like have you got with him and I was like IM WORKING ON IT. Ah man it was so jokes. Back in the house I was just slut dropping and then when I was up straight I’d say AND BACK. I think I thought that’d sober me up but let’s be honest it didn’t work.
I think that at one point Scarlett was telling me how Kavina thought someone has stolen her vodka but the following morning it turned out she’d drank it all, I love Kavina.
I ended up back in the summer house and people were smoking weed and because the summer house is tiny and none of the windows were open I’m pretty sure it affected me but it didn’t make me feel awful so woo. People kept on coming in and out like Kavina, Holly, Robyn and Molly and loads of pics were taken. At one point this guy say on Lizzy’s lego stool and it broke and it was the funniest thing I kid you not. A lot of the guys there were so hot and there is a pic of me and I looked like I’m pimping with my bitches.
I spent a lot of time talking to Kiran and we took a picture and aw I love Kiran she is so cute and lovely and omg.
People started leaving and it was really sad but in the end it was just a few of us under the gazebo. I literally don’t know what we talked about but it was really chill. At one point Colm put on my earrings and Holly took a picture. The evening came to a close and it was only a few of us left in Lizzy’s kitchen. I think at this point the alcohol took it’s real effect as the following morning I woke up in Lizzy’s bedroom not remembering walking up there. All in all it was a fucking brilliant night, everyone got laggo and Lizzy is a fucking legend! I AM SO HAPPY!
