There's a fountain in the city. At night it lights up, And so do the flowing waterfalls nearby.

I admire them as I walk past, Thinking of how pretty they are tonight, How perfect and beautiful they are, And realise that I don't have anywhere urgent to be, And this is one of those moments to savour.

So I sit down. I take a detour just to embrace this instant. I hold onto it and wring every second of peace out of it.

who are two of the best dressed fellas on the New Jersey Devils? two of the most suave, smoothest, generally coolest fellas on the New Jersey Devils? why its Timo Meier and Jesper Bratt, of course.

its summer of 2025, I'm thinking July.

Timo and Jesper are on a fuck ass yacht off the coast of I dunno Greece or Italy, somewhere in the Mediterranean on a big ass fucking boat.

Uptown Funk is playing somewhere on the big ass boat, so you can faintly hear it in the background, but its seems so far away.

The sun has already reached its zenith in the sky and has started to make its descent, the sky turning darker shades of orange. but its not time to go inside and think about dinner yet. there's still a chance to soak in the last of the sun's rays.

Timo and Jesp are both lounging on a deck their tree trunk thighs out for the world to see, in their floral, expensive swim shorts.

Jesper's opted for a flowy, white button up shirt which he has left unbuttoned under the pretense of not wanting to get burnt.

Timo is completely shirtless, letting his glorious chest be out and about.

(insert incredibly charged and drawn out scene of them putting sun screen on each other)

They both have hilariously large and ostentatiously colorful fruity alcoholic bevvies in their hands that they drink through crazy straws.

and you know they have their sunnies on.

everything is meticulously styled, not a hair or thread looks out of place, but they look so effortless.

they're hot. they know it. they're flaunting it. and they're having a grand old time together.

they decided to go on this impromptu trip together and maybe not tell anyone else about it because they're fed up of being the armchair therapists to their disaster friends and teammates who can't get their love lives together.

why is everyone going to them to solve their problems, fashion and otherwise, and why does no one ever listen to them!

they're better than this! they're too hot to be bogged down by whatever new tragedy has befallen their lineys

so they've escaped and found themselves living the lifestyles they so rightfully deserve, at least for a few days anyway before its back to the regimented diets and workout routines

Jesper maybe looks over and appreciates how well sculpted Timo's torso is and Timo maybe looks over and appreciates how sturdy Jesper's legs are.

(and maybe both of them know to stay absolutely fucking silent about each other's hairlines)

so they've spent a couple of years together now on the same hockey team, and they've spent a couple of years together now rolling their eyes in the background as they watch their teammates and friends be stupid and in love, and maybe they realize some of that love, some of that silliness can be for them too with each other

because there's nothing that brings you together like shared life experience, especially shared traumatic life experience of being wingers on the New Jersey Devils to two first overall centers

and Timo likes how Jesper tucks just perfectly into his side and Jesper likes how he feels completely covered and enveloped by Timo when they hug

and here underneath the southern sun off the coast of some island it all seems possible

I'm thinking at one point Timo gets out of his lounge chair and tries to dance or move his hips or wiggle about and Jesper tries his absolute hardest not to burst out laughing.

instead he gets up grabs Timo by the shoulders and pulls him in for a kiss that they both laugh into.
