The sky

Why can’t you just look at the sky? it looks so beautiful today, tonight  and I wish it looked more like this because it reminds me of you and the way your eyes shine as bright as stars your smile glows like the sun your tears fall as rhythmically as the rain

You are loved in the same way this storm, regardless of being strong, will eventually give room to a clear sky and you will be as long as the sun rises and sets, as long as the stars light up the night, as long as I still think of you, as long as I am still here

Breathing and loving and holding onto something that will never happen because of me because of you because of  the unrequitecy of love oh, love it would be so much easier if it was only about the sky
