#2d puppet animation

I never did post this, did I? This was my attempt to make a simple rigged animation for a rigging course. Had to make my precious boy about it.

Behind the scenes, and a non-ghost version of this gif that I sent into the course under the cut v v v

same as usual, I swapped the dark colours for light ones, but kept the green in his eyes :3

Here's the node view for this rig; no deformers, no autopatches, only one cutter and it was just to hide a part of the jaw.

Here's all the pieces and how they overlap:

The eyes and ears are animated using drawing substitutions, while the pendant, jaw and muzzle, and head rotation are all animated using pegs

Unironically, this is the simplest rig I ever made. It took my a couple hours to whip up. And then 2 months later I've been making the most unnecessarily (very necessary imo) rig for my rephanimated shots.
