I know I’m not the only person who was inspired to re-design Bliss and make her their own. So I wanted to draw some of the other Blisses by fabulous artists whose iteration inspired me to make my own.

When it comes to games that let you give a name for the character, do you tend to use your own name, a name you use specifically for games like this, make up specific or silly names for each new character, or keep the character's base name they start with?

Nowadays I tend to name my characters and play them a certain way. If the game turns out to be boring then figuring out what this character would do and say and acting out their life gives me something to do.

Most of them are just normal names but I did name my Persona 5 protagonist “Wasabi Gunchman”

just curious, how much do you have planned in advance when making the comic Paper Trail? Do you go by chapters? Do you have the whole story fully set? Or just an outline until the chapter comes?

I have a rough vague outline that I am kind of...filling in as I go? There’s some scenes I know way in advance how they’ll go and already have them written down in full detail, and some where I have a vague “?????” about until I actually sit down to try and figure them out. 

But like...you’d be surprised how much plot stuff I honestly hadn’t worked out before I started. But the nice thing about it is, you tend to figure it out as you go. XD

I recently watched a 2 video series about what happened to Voltron, and honestly just watching that had made me really sad with what we could have gotten vs what we got. ...So i ended up re-reading your fix-it-fic and felt a tiny bit better. So thanks <3

ah, i think i may have seen that one - “how voltron became a tragedy”? it’s a very well done dissection and hit most of the things i had issues with, including some things (ie. the team not struggling to reform voltron with kuron once keith was gone, making it seem like keith was not as important a player of the team as shiro) that while i don’t think exactly as flaws on the same level as other, perhaps smaller things that led to far worse (ie. the paladins sitting in shiro’s chair, where he died, is played largely for laughs, and his treatment by the showrunners never gets better from that point onwards) it just shows that vld failed on… every level

and i’m glad my fix it fic could give you some comfort. that’s the goal, honestly <3 here’s to the day we get better stories with people who love all their characters and don’t treat any of them poorly

As far as i know there's still at least one (i heard rumors of two) more seasons and the movie for SU. So while i don't know what else they could do with it, they definitely got more time to work with.

Well, I guess they have more stories to tell, then. I hope they’re interesting stories :)
