How many languages do you speak?

just three! - nepali, hindi and japanese. indian media is really big in nepal so most people learn to speak hindi just by watching indian news, movies, and tv shows. intermediate-lvl japanese because i've been watching anime since i was, like, 10 and also i took classes in uni when i had way too much time

i'm a big fan of online translating tools, so you'll probably see me reblog posts in various languages that prop up on my dash occasionally -- no language barriers is gonna stop me from communisming. but i would really like to learn maybe a couple of the over 100 indigenous languages in nepal in the future

I think it's interesting that Nepal, one of the world's smallest federations (and smallest outside of Europe), is bordered by china, the world's largest unitary state.

I never even thought of that. We're also bordered by the two of the, by far, most populous states in the world, like 3 billion people damn. 3 in 8 people in the world are our neighbours.
