This is my first computer, it had Windows 98 on it. It’s partly my family’s first computer ever from back in like 1993, which ran Windows 3.1. I think my dad cobbled that one together from bits from the office where he worked, and then later someone took bits from that tower and another to make this one. It had Windows 95 and then got upgraded to 98. When we got a proper computer in like 2002 right after PC makers abandoned beige for that kind of navy/grey/black color I wanted this one really bad and so my dad let me have it. I think I last powered it up about twelve years ago. I don’t think it even works anymore but I can’t bring myself to throw it out.
