sometimes when i read persterlogs in fanfics i start laughing really hard and start reevaluating the things i do in my spare time

This is due to the fact that I am seen as a smart and capable person.  Surprisingly, MENTAL ILLNESS DOES NOT NECESSARILY CORRELATE WITH INTELLIGENCE.

Although I have ADD, I have an above average IQ.  Intelligence is not always affected by mental illness.  That being said, I hope that this rant made sense and that I am expressing my sudden anger at generalizations and society in a somewhat passive-agressive manner.

While I'm on the topic of mental illness, it also makes me peeved when people claim that you can just "get over" mental illnesses.

i actually hate posts like the one i reblogged about dave but jesus fuck its exactly how i feel i cant deny it.  actually i feel pretty fucking stupid for liking fictional characters so much maybe its because im too unsocial to meet people off of the internet that i can obsess over like the girls in my class.  or alternatively i can be a cheetah girl and not wait for a handsome prince to come and save me and rescue myself with girl power.
