Alice studied herself one last time in the mirror and straightened her posture. No wrinkles on her clothes, she was ready to head off for her afternoon tea with Blanc.
On her way there, she thought back at how having tea with Blanc had become a lovely tradition of theirs. Once a week, she would visit him and he would prepare a wonderful and exquisite tea time for her with her favourite tea and treats. They would talk about what they both had been doing during the week. From time to time she would ask him about Cradle before Alice the first, eager to learn more about the world she was now living in.
Blanc was always so patient and diligent with a hint of teasing here and there. Alice came to love spending time with him, she also came to love Blanc all together.
Lately their regular tea time had grown more and more tantalising. Blanc would hand her her cup of tea or anything and their hands would brush. Blanc would leave his hand a few seconds longer than usual and it would turn Alice into a blushing mess.
She finally arrived at Blanc's house and her walk down memory lane was soon interrupted by Blanc's beaming smile. He invited her in, helped her get seated. They were talking leisurely and Alice did not notice that while eating she had a few crumbs decorating her lips. Blanc chuckled and carefully took a napkin.
"Let me help you wipe the crumbs away~"
Blanc tapped carefully the napkin on Alice's mouth and she blushed. She felt the warmth of his hand through the fabric and on her skin. She noticed the caring gaze he gave her and she could have drowned in it.
"Blanc! You're pampering me too much~" she sighted, suddenly feeling self-conscious.
"Oh really?" Blanc stopped. "I just love the face you make whenever you are pampered. You look so sweet I might confuse you for a treat~"
Blanc's answer left Alice blushing and stuttering. She was helpless against his words, his kindness. Without knowing she beamed at him with all the growing love she felt for him. Blanc smiled at her and they basked in each other's unconfessed love. Blanc reached out and traced his slender fingers under her chin. He caressed the curve of her rosy cheeks and finally planted a kiss on her lips.
It felt so natural and utterly beautiful to her. The warmth of his lips against hers, a dream she had forbidden herself to imagine. Yet, here they were, sharing their first kiss, confirming their attraction to each other. Alice kissed him back timidly, hesitantly, clumsily trying to convey her feelings. Blanc met her lips again, his kiss was firm; he was resolved to pour all his love onto her during this tea time. There was no escaping his kisses and by the time they pulled away from each other for good, the tea had already gone cold.
