Admittedly, she found his suggestions a bit difficult to understand. She understood the idea of stairs, but...all of this seemed to intricate and time consuming. Much more so than just jumping down there and hoping to survive.
“Wait wait, so...I just need to put blocks on the sides...?”
She moved her avatar a step forward, but the block wouldn’t set... Maybe she wasn’t close enough??
Moving another step forward, she tried again to place the first block...only to watch her character fall over the edge of the cliff, a death pop up covering the screen as her stuff scattered across the bottom of the dimly lit abyss.
She stared expressionlessly at the screen for a moment before holding the controller out to her classmate, letting out a discouraged sigh.
“I...don’t think I want to play anymore...” she told him quietly.
