One year of 2ne1 disband…

Well… I just have to keep thanking all the moments these girls made me happy, really these girls were/are my light and I love them so much, my words are going to be small to show my love for the girls. I’ll continue to accompany and support each one of them. ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

1 year.

1 year has passed since 2ne1 disbanded, yet the pain and sadness that came with the announcement still feels brand new. I kept expecting it to get easier; that maybe with time I'd come to terms with the disbandment. But it never got easier. I think I will always carry a chip on my shoulder over the way 2ne1 was treated; how Blackjacks were treated by YG Entertainment, and just a great sadness in general over the loss of immense talent that was Minzy, Park Bom, Dara and CL under one name.

I often felt like giving up after the news broke; emotionally, mentally, and even physically I felt hopeless and exhausted, never able to come to terms with the group ending. The unfairness of it all nagged away at me and permeated my thoughts more than I'd have liked, but it was inevitable. Because when you find a group that you have such a deep, emotional connection to, a group that means so much to not only me but countless people around the world, their disbandment can have a devastating effect on your mindset. But my outlook began to change, little by little, as I saw how the members worked to help us through it all in their own ways. Park Bom interacting with fans on social media. Dara taking every opportunity to keep 2ne1's legacy alive and offer nothing but kindness and support to fans. CL writing us a deeply personal letter to allow us a glimpse into her state of mind. Their honesty and resilience gradually helped me turn my frustration and anger into determination; determination to always fight for them, defend them, and stand steadfastly by their side.

I realized that though 2ne1 may be technically "disbanded" on paper, it's nothing more than a word. Their impact remains, as do their legions of fans across the globe. Nothing will ever change that.

Dara, CL, Minzy and Park Bom's actions this year and their strong bond with each other make me believe, with all my heart, that they will come together again one day under the name 2ne1.

Until then, I'm thankful for the amazing community of Blackjacks we have worldwide, and forever grateful to the members of 2ne1. They continue to work hard and stay strong for us, and in turn, we will always be here to stay strong for them.

2ne1 is fourever - the members have not forgotten this, and neither will Blackjacks, no matter how many years pass by.

2NE1 deserved so so so much better. CL deserved the audience recognizing her beauty, inner and outer. Dara deserved more acknowledgement for her musical talent. Minzy deserved more opportunities to showcase the immense amount of talent she holds. Bom deserved justice and people acknowledging her innocence. All four of them deserved a company and support system that fought for them and a company that made sure people knew the truth. 2NE1 deserved the best because they are the best. I can bet my life that the world will never see another group as legendary as 2NE1. They are one of a kind and have touched so many hearts and souls.
