My x attempt at making a 2p design for Matt because, because :). He has heterochromia, in this pic he hides his purple eye with an eyepatch bc he used to be insecure about his appearance, but I think in present days he would drop it. ( Close enough, welcome back kaneki ken !! )
I went to the régiment de la chaudière museum recently and spotted this ceremonial top with the cape and thought I had to draw it at some point. While there was no description for this outfit, it was displayed alongside another outfit which was wore during Elizabeth II's coronation, so I suppose it was part of it. Either way it kinda slays.
Anyways, my version of 2p Molossia and a possible 2p Seborga design. Seborga is still in the works outfit wise but the colours for his hair and eyes are gonna stay.
I wanna be more consistent with how I draw Matt so here is a mini ref sheet and I just wanted to elaborate on it and sprinkle in some of my own headcannons.
Not only this but I do have an Al ref sheet planned.
Appearance
TALL man, not only that but he is also just built like a bear. Under his clothes he has a few scars here and there but what is life without some? His physique is kind of like one of those body builders who build for strength, not for show.
He is very much a strawberry blonde! His hair texture is very rough, imagine like a horse's mane. It can get some curls underneath but he doesn't really follow a hair care regime that would allow for his curls to really come through.
He always has some redness to his face. It is hard to say if that is because its almost always cold where he lives or he just is built like that. The rest of his skin is very pale with some scars as mentioned before.
Sometimes he sports a short beard but he likes to be clean shaven. It makes him feel like he has a routine, though if he actually had a routine he would go crazy. So he often has a blonde 5'00 shadow.
His eyes are very intense, with notable bags under his eyes buried under some sharp blonde brows.
His wardrobe is pretty plain, its mostly jeans, flannels and his Mountie uniform. He HATES not being able to cover up for one reason or another. Most of his shoes are dirty from work or just being outside.
General
His full name is Matthieu James Williams. Though mostly he goes by, Matt. Though very rarely some call him James. (It is usually when his brother teases him.)
Though he doesn't need a job, in the winter months he often works as a lumberjack. And when it warms up, he helps out as a Mountie and primarily works with implementing and enforcing policies that have to do with silviculture and wild game.
Usually in his pockets he will have a piece of candy or two. It is never anything fruity flavored or gummies. It is a mix between, butterscotch, toffee, maple sugars, carmels or something in that ball park.
Drives a Ford truck! Cars are something he appreciates with his brother so he takes pretty good care of it.
He usually likes to have cash, though he does not go into town often so cash just sits in his wallet.
As much as he hates it, his cellphone. Because you never know when you will need it. Same for his knife. Though he uses it for tasks like opening boxes and cutting up apples.
He loves Hockey, just always has and always will. He loves playing it just as much as watching it.
Loves nature! But hates a lot of the people in it. Especially the "Hippies". Though he uses this word to refer to many people who are not just hippies. He cant stand people who spend time in nature just to plaster it all over social media. He knows it doesn't effect him much but, he cant stand the over crowding at scenic sights and pollution those people cause.
It especially irks him when people act like they care for the environment but they don't take any steps to care for it. So many self proclaimed "Hippies" just bother him. From the way that the dress, talk, act and so on.
