You seen wicked yet?

i did, twice, i thought it was very good, enjoyed every second, shortest 2h 45min movie i've ever watched. the pixel x iphone wicked yuri ads i saw both times took me out and im soooooo glad they released the near full cut of what is this feeling on youtube so i can look at my witch yuri any time i want.

loved that it did things that only movies can do but leaned into big ass sets and loads of chorus members all with cunty little outfits. you could see the work grande + eviro did in their chemistry building and not a moment was missed to make it the gelphie content we needed. casting openly gay Johnathon bailey was a genius move, i can never be mad at that man he's a delight he has chemistry with everyone. one sure way for me to not even be mad at the stupid love triangle.

went with 3 other people, i was the only one who had seen the musical, two of them had no idea even the basic premise of the movie and we all loved it.

hello ! i don’t normally watch soaps but i’ve been obsessed with Carla + D.S Swain from Coronation Street. have you heard of them ?

i've done soaps before by getting into holby with bernie/serena and unforch the process of like watching clip playlists etc is just too time consuming and fiddly for me

Hi, so this is probably a bit weird, but you draw SO MUCH! I got curious about how you organize your files, like do you name them by date or by subject? do you have different pastes for each fandom? I really love your art, and you are an inspiration to me!

Hi ! hope you don’t mind me answering this publicly, file organization is somewhat of a point of pride for me :’)

I’m typically drawing a fanart/specific characters when I work so I don’t sort art by date folder since it's not very useful for me to find things later and dating is already embedded in the file data! I label the files as “FANDOM small description.clip” like so  ⇩ ⇩ ⇩  so when I sort by alphabetical it’s all in fandom groups.

if the work is SUPER old like 6+ years i’ll put it in a second folder to keep it out the way but i didn't find there was much usefulness in diving further.

my art gets slotted mostly in to three folders, Fan art, OCs and Commissions, using the same naming system of “THING small description” so i can always sort by name and find the relevant file.

I also normally have a whole BUNCH of sketches on one 4k x 4k canvas to save on a million files per fandom, once i’ve filled one up i move on to a new one. I only have one artwork per file when it’s a full painting and or requires a million layers (Or is an flat export of a file)

and then when i post most of the sketches i just save a cropped screenshot using a messaging desktop app i have and save that to my desktop which 1 stops me bloating my files (i regularly delete or sort my desktop) and 2 stops me from posting full res files when i don’t need to

Do you think you’ll be doing more of Cruella and Anita in the future? I really love your version of them. Also loving your original stuff too. Your style is fantastic

I have an entire timeline plotted out for them that i’d REALLY like to do but I also have....a great number of other projects on my plate rn including Patty & natalia thats taking precedence so it’s just one of thoes things i might? get round to at some point but it’s always on my mind :’) If i get my fan comic patreon up and running it might be a project i can take on.

yes i am hopefully, rn im working on the outline, just to see if its really got bones for what i want to do with it.

Is your Anita and cruella based on the animation of the live movie?

cruella is a mix of both, shes a fashion house owner & old school chum of anita, both iterations are so iconic so i had to take a mix both aesthetically and backstory wise, but anita is p much all based on the animated movie only this time she’s a writer and met cruella in college.

also the currently time in this verse is 70s/80s rather than the 60s original or the 90s in this live action.

How do you like pick your colors?? They're so pleasing to look at oof

now this next bit is just colour theory 101 but here’s an example of what i mostly avoid in my work where i want a colour pallet that fits with each other, if i have something fairly saturated (like skin here) i have to mute/desaturate the other side of the colour wheel when i use that colour, in this example, the blue of the eyes. this can be a great way to get something to stick out on the other hand!
