Platonic:
🍸 He's nearly harmless to you as a platonic yandere given his physical health (but that can change).
🍸 But that doesn't mean he can't twist the system he works under to say, get someone arrested if they attacked you. Of course, even saying you don't like a person is quick to get affirmation from him, regardless of whether he knows who you're talking about or not. If you don't like them, it has to be for a good reason, and he's not going to question it.
🍸 Of course, there's that issue of him suddenly wanting to get better when obsession starts to override his addictions. Getting better means that the leash on you would become significantly shorter.
🍸 More energy means more time that he's wondering and then obsessing on thoughts like 'What are they doing right now?'. More of him making the trip to spy on you a little before actually stepping out of the shadow for a 'surprise visit'.
🍸 At any other time he can be just overwhelmingly annoying, taking a simple missed text as something being wrong and jumping straight to calling you if he doesn't hear from you in less than half an hour. It's like having a concerned older brother, but even he won't agree to that term used for him. You're simply his 'favorite person', and he is simply François.
🍸 He holds his tongue when you talk about plans with other people, it makes him feel sick but he can't be too selfish, can he? He should be happy for you, out there and making friends that are good for you. Right? You come back to him anyways, the least he can do is be supportive.
🍸 He'll monopolize whatever time he can grab in your schedules, and make up excuses for why you can't leave. To you, it's just him expressing his loneliness out loud. For him, it's avoiding being stuck with thoughts he really doesn't want to listen to.
🍸 You will start to be able to see a crack in the front that he puts up, he's trying really hard to stay pleasant so you keep coming back. But it gets tiring, even if he's feeling better, you keep leaving and it drives him fucking crazy.
🍸 "I feel sick every time you leave my home." Then he just blurts it out when the pressure of knowing whether or not you'll stay on the hook that much longer or not. People leave, he has to say it, words flowing out of him of ever thought he'd been having since the obsession started. He doesn't care if it makes him look crazy or not, he doesn't even care if you take it as emotional manipulation, so long as you stay just a little longer with him.
🍸 "Are you coming back?" That's always what slips out every time you leave. He likes to hear a 'yes' and when. The earlier the better, otherwise he's going to be sick for a long while due to the 'what if's. Anxiety can really wreck the human body, that's for sure.
Romantic:
🍸 He could be considered a Shackling type due to how easily he could use the fact that he's sick from leaving. You're the one who got into a relationship with a sick man to begin with, you won't really leave him to rot alone, would you?
🍸 Ok, so you guys remember that bit of information about him talking to Oliver to make you immortal if you showed him a general sense of love? Yeah. That ends up happening after a while of being used to you being with him. Watching you age just slowly wears down his ability to live with the idea that one day you'd be gone. He had to make sure you were still there.
🍸 He'll sort of manipulate you into getting him to get healthier, he wants to see the world as you do, even if it's just going end up with him getting pissed off or give him a headache by the end of the day.
🍸 He doesn't say cute things like "I love you to the moon and back", it's "I'll love you until the sun implodes." It's a constant reminder of the change that's happened to you through magic. It seems cute until you realize you're no longer aging. You can't keep saying 'I have those good genes' when ten years go by and your friends are looking double your age. You think he's going to tell you right away? No no, what if you say you want it reversed?
🍸 He's pushy about you sleeping next to him in bed even if you're angry with him. He doesn't hide why. He treats the idea of being alone when he wakes up is as scary as death.
"I need to know you're still here."
🍸 Any time that you move to help him becomes another reason that he's happy you exist. He'll remember the little things more than you ever will. Sooner or later he'll start to write it down while you're distracted.
🍸 He wants you physically as close as possible all the time. He'll probably place Picardy in your lap as an excuse for another five minutes where you're in his arms.
🍸 He does eventually, truly start to mellow out and become happier the longer you're together. More leniency, less stress on the both of you.
🍸 It's a sort of happy ever after, might not be a very good one to most people, but hey, he isn't going to complain. You're still here.
🍸 If you try to leave for real, you'd just be dragged back to him by an extremely pissed off Oliver. You're here forever, did you think that he wouldn't find you again eventually?
