F-Phase Lesson 001: To Write a story using Purple Mash

A lesson that explores writing a story using Purple Mash’s 2Write a story tool. The whole idea is to promote the use of words with graphical representation. We also intend to add some reflective follow up -looking at this lesson from the point of view parents and teachers.

Exploration with 10 year olds: Animation and with Purple Mash

Bryneven Primary School's Mr. Bradley, gives another lesson.  This study explores the basic technique of tracing for animation; our creativity is fueled by using the animation tool in 2Simple's Purple Mash. The tool of the 25th October is 2Animate -it the base, in essence, a feature that requires further interaction with the idea and the practice of translating the image into perceived movement.

Cute baby monkey provides the basis for our further work. We import all the images into the footage or animation project. Then we trace the outlines of our cute monkey and fill the gaps with colour using the paint bucket tool.

2Simple many educational functions - their Purple Mash site; nourishes our educational dynamics , at Bryneven Primary -within this design emphasizes education of the 21st century.

This lesson promotes the idea that the tools, equipment and practices feed the project -though its an introduction; it is necessary to look at the scope and use of the tool. More fully - we express creativity - first -that might have not been initially we would not be have seen, based on the limits of our means.

Exploration with 10 year olds: Animation and with Purple Mash

Bryneven Primary School's Mr Bradley provides another lesson. The study exploring the basic technique of tracing in animation; our creativity is fed using the animation tool, of Purple Mash. The tool of the 25th October is 2Animate -it provides the base, features that need further engagement with the idea of bringing pictures into life.

We take an image -save it to our computer;  then from a Youtube video we capture a screen shot -using the snipping tool: a cute baby monkey provides the base -it feeds it into our further work. We import the picture into all or one of the frames in the animation project. We then trace the outlines of the cute monkey and fill up with the paint bucket.

2Simple provides a whole plethora of educational features -in their Purple Mash website; these feed our educational dynamic, at Bryneven Primary -within it lies the 21st century educational being emphasized.

Bryneven Primary's Mr Bradley Simulated Sunsets with Gr 3

Bryneven Primary introduces a 2Simple's Purple Mash coding lesson. It's a 30-minute lesson with 9-year-olds. In this lesson, we model the alternation of the appearance and disappearance of objects using a timer.

The goal is to provide and identify the conversion from day to night. We explore the basic logic with a timer. The timer controls time and other objects which are dragged into the code section. Their positioning gives logic - which is the main point of the lesson.

Five seconds is the point to brings a transformation; initiating a change into a yellow background. With an interval of 10 seconds - the background changes colour, thanks to the work of another control timer. That is, the second interval causes the background property to change colour, it becomes black.

This is an experience with Grade 3 students. At first, I thought this activity would be difficult for them. However, many students have completed the task using their knowledge after first viewing this presentation. Nearly half of the class passed the fifth challenge.

Here we are involved in animating. This lesson complements the previous video that dealt with the topic of using the slideshow. This naturally is the 2Simpler version of Flash, purely for children -so: consider how Flash looks then 2Animate in 2Simple sense. I hope this video will facilitate your entry into the Mash projects at Bryneven. It is the dynamic movement of picture that forms the basis of this work (video). In particular, here we have improved sharing and collaboration opportunities via Purple Mash’s cloud dynamic.

The value of Mash Mash -of course- is that it creates confidence by nature of what it is: design, 21st century child-centredness in the cloud. The evidence is what it brings to creativity viz., the enthusiasm in using the 2animate tool. It is a bit necessary to encourage children to use the array of  tools: lead them towards the future of learning and active learning. Lets Remind ourselves: We are inclined to forgot the tool, for a while: 2Animate has - once again - regained a place in the moment -with much enthusiasm. I am alluding back into our history i.e., in 2018 we created a short video about animation with 2Animate.

In this section, we make use of the export button: that takes us to the downloaded,  animated GIF file. Simplicity, child-friendly design, and cloud-friendly engagement make sharing and collaboration easier. 2Animate offers children a simple tool: a new way to explore animation. I forgot to mention the possibility of adding a sound recording to the animation work.

Please have fun! The children we teach, most teachers, have to take into account the tools and resources -accumalate what is found at the end of this rainbow. Purple Mash promotes, with this features highly and points us towards project work (education).

Bryneven's Bradley Presents Purple Mash slide presentations

Here, the slide presentations facilitate the projects set by teachers; work with presentations in the cloud dynamic  showing examples with students, using slides in Mash.

Many teachers and children have yet to explore so many areas in Purple Mash that facilitate and expand the area they operate in. Mash's Child orientation - naturally creates trust in its design. We are able to enter an environment that is created purely for children; programs focused on the dynamics of moving children into the future of learning. Such an educational website is actually quite revolutionary, in the positive sense, of nature.

Slides, that the adult world engages with: PowerPoint, MS Flash, etc., etc., are foreshadowed - expressed  in the simplicity that is necessary to contribute to a child's expressivity. Purple Mash is the right tool: simplicity, performance, its cloud base, thanks to its design, contribute to its integration into our world.  It speaks with tools that are for children an early age. We show see and seize this possibility: here we do by adding a voice recording to a slide presentation. PNG files are saved and retrieved from our computer to add to the slide show. Thus we extend the capabilities of the tool.

How Google appeared in the cloud (in a metaphorical techno-miraculous sense); So today's children communicate naturally withn this "cloud". Educational Resources are technical: they meet the needs of each historical era. Therefore we promote: simplicity, the capacity connect to cloud services, making Purple Mash a good start, especially on the path we are looking for.

We try to understand that our dream must be based on our evolving technical paradigm.

Bryneven Purple Mash Project Work with Slide Shows

Here, slides facilitate the design work of presentations -projects for teachers and students, using slides in Mash.

Many teachers and children are unaware that Purple Mash is capable of creating shows such as is normally part of Powerpoint, Flash, and others. Mash offers the right tool: simplicity, performance, and a cloud base that promotes  and is so appropriately levelled at all primary school children. We add our voice recording into the presentation. Images, saved, extracted from our computer's desktop.

Since Google appeared in the cloud, our children also should communicate naturally with this cloud. Proper training meets the needs of the historical age.

We are trying to realize our dream and rely on our technical paradigm. Thus, simplicity and capacity connect to cloud services, which makes it a good start on the path to which we are striving.

Bryneven Primary School Purple Mash Snail Race tutoring Ziyande in Grade 2

The 'background' of this lesson -builds on the learner experience around: basic movement using the mouse -to drag code blocks. These are placed in the orange sections in the coding section. The trigger is setting off the competition -through an appropriate event (on click).

 In this lesson we work together -constructing a system of objects moving- based on the trigger. That is the clicking on the background -which starts the snail race. This lesson explores movement, through the snail race. There speed of these snails are measured in steps.  

 The 'snail movement' across a race course (our background). Initial designated speeds are supplanted by the random number -which brings in the idea of automation i.e., in that the computer will assign a number. I can see how this lesson could fit into a mathematics lesson -with Grade 4-7 learners, graphing the outcome of various snail races. The importance of this is to see the germ of something more than it is plainly perceived to be.
