❛I should have told you how i felt.❜
It’d never once fathomed deep down that he’d have this sort of almost father-son like relationship with a fellow idol; sure, he was close to the Infinite members, that, was a given, however Howon had always found it difficult to make friends in general, never-mind ever actually having such an endearing and meaningful (best) friendship with a fellow idol, even to the point of calling him his son-- Wonho to Howon (despite the anagram in their name) meant more than a good 95% of everything else in life, so when he realised the gravity of Wonho’s issue, it took less than a moment for him to open his apartment and time to the younger male, thus giving him freedom to vent as needed, as well as a little breathing space.
“You know you don’t need to apologise or wonder about the would-have-should-haves of it, I’m here for you man, anything you need to rant about, anything you need to punch or yell at, I’ve got you. This place is my place and my place is yours. So if you can’’t sleep at 3am ‘cause you’re just not feeling it, wake me up and we’ll hit up Mortal Kombat until you need to sleep. If you wanna punch meat bags like you’re in Rocky-- Woncky, then I’ll go tip a cow. Look... people know I’m pretty shit with words, but to me you mean a fucking lot, I can’t always say what I mean because words just float out of my mouth in a nonsensical bullshittery, but you’re my best friend and my son, anything you need to do you can count on me, just don’t dwell on what you should have done earlier, it’s alright Wonho...”
