Is this what a 2x2 alternating cable cast on is supposed to look like?
Cuz the stitches don't look right to me and my math is coming out all backwards. Like, I tried to start with 2 purls, then 2 knits, etc., but somehow it seems be the opposite?

Hey knitblr, what's your favourite cast on for 2x2 ribbing?
I've been swatching bind-offs for 2x2 ribbing. Top to bottom, left to right:
1. Slipped-stitch BO (as demonstrated by @fallingblox).
2. Crochet BO in pattern.
3. Italian/invisible/Kitchener BO, stitches not transposed (as demonstrated by Suzanne Bryan).
4. Italian/invisible/Kitchener BO, stitches transposed (as demonstrated by Suzanne Bryan).
5. Stretchy crochet BO (as demonstrated by @jimiknits).
6. Stretchy BO (as demonstrated by @nimbleneedlez and @sheepandstitch).
