The guy still looks confused, like he has no idea what's happening, so Isak decides it’s probably best to be as obvious as possible.

“Vilde’s boyfriend.”

This is the possible love of Even’s life, the most perfect boy he’s ever laid his eyes on, with the perfect height and perfect lips and sometimes he does this little thing with his tongue that reduces Even to a puddle of feelings -- and he has a girlfriend.

A very liberal interpretation of the fake relationship trope.

We loved this hilarious sitcom-y fic where Isak and Even aren’t together (yet). For the fake dating trope: Isak pretends to be Vilde’s boyfriend, which Even isn’t happy with at all. Special kudos for a nice relationship between Isak and Vilde, and for the nice bit of tension as we wonder whether Isak and Even will sort out the misunderstanding.
