Wanderlust Come True
So almost two months ago I received news that I got accepted to study in Thailand this upcoming summer. I had about a 2 out of 3 chance of being accepted into the program but I thought my chances were 1 out of 2 and I FELT like my chances were more like 1 in 50 because there was nothing which I felt made me stand out from everyone else and my current Cal Poly GPA probably was no help. I was primarily betting on my essay (which was not bad) and this opportunity to be God-willing. Initially, I actually thought my application was being rejected...long story...so I was beyond overjoyed when I found out my application actually was accepted!! Anyways, I have only briefly shared with other people, outside my family and people I see often, that I will be going through Snapchat but I want to write somewhere my thoughts about this trip. Therefore, after a long hiatus from tumblr I am reviving it to share with you (and my future self) this journey.
