“While we look not at the things that are seen but at the things that are not seen.” (2 Cor 4:18) If God has given you a promise, that’s all you need. The circumstances around may look contrary to everything He has promised you, but hold on, it will come to pass. Joseph’s life looked like it was out of control. Everything was working against him. His stand for righteousness and truth landed him in more trouble than he was already in. It took him to the dungeon. To the eyes of the world he looked like a loser. But God had already told him that even his family would bow down to him. If he had looked at the circumstances around him, he would not have survived his trial. But his eyes were upon the Lord always and eventually he became second in command to the Pharaoh. Child of God, don’t look at the mess you are in. Look to God who is able to keep every promise He has made to you. At just the right time He will fulfill it.
