26–Funny Bone
Describe your character’s sense of humor (dry, corny, sarcastic, cynical, high-brow, bathroom, etc.): Sarcastic/cynical.
Tell about the most embarrassing thing that has happened to your character: That one time his then girlfriend publicly chewed him out at a film premiere after party, resulting in a fight and break-up. He woke up the next morning to find that the incident had been embellished and published in a number of magazines/news pages.
Does your character like to tell jokes? Do they like to hear jokes? Occasionally, and yes.
What is your character’s favorite comedy (TV or film) and/or comedian? Comedian - Kathy Griffin.
Is your character a prankster? If so, what is the most memorable prank they have been a part of? No.
Describe your character’s authentic laugh (the sound, gestures they do, etc.): Fits of silent giggles.
27–Religion, Spirituality & Traditions
Are they religious? If so, what religion(s) do they practice? No.
Are they devout, casual, or fleeting in their beliefs? Fleeting.
Would they consider themselves spiritual? No.
Would they consider themselves open-minded and accepting of others beliefs or lack thereof? He would, though in reality he can be extremely judgmental/presumptuous.
Where would they say they acquired their core beliefs from? (or lack thereof) His father.
Do they have any traditions (picnics, holidays, etc.) that they put on or participate in? Norman, in that family
If so, what are they? Who started them? Christmas/Thanksgiving, 4th of July, etc. Norman and Harry, respectively.
28–Blast from the Past
Describe a favorite memory from their past, including when it took place (age range): Aged 9. One particular sleepover with Peter, when the pair of them broke into the kitchen to make popcorn at some ungodly hour of the morning.
If someone unkind/hurtful from your character’s past showed up on their doorstep to reconcile, how would your character react? Bitterly, in that he wouldn’t bother to hide his disdain. He’d probably get irate and slam the door in their face. Eventually, anyway.
How did your character handle upsetting news in their younger years if it differs from how they handle it now? He’d let it eat away at him now, and he certainly did the same then - and would absolutely act out of spite if he held somebody else accountable. The only real difference is the fact that, now, he doesn’t have temper tantrums over it..Well. Not in the same way.
Is there any particular game, toy or activity from their past that they wish was trendy now? Not particularly.
At the park, what playground attraction did they go to first (merry-go-round, monkey bars, swing, see-saw, slide, sandbox, etc.)? Monkey bars.
