J/C June Day 8: Chakotay? or Janeway?: BOTH, but really JANEWAY

because I so closely identify with her (see my attached list). She’s badass, sweet, loves dogs, loves coffee, and most importantly loves her warrior Chakotay.

Day 6 - J/C scene that makes you smile - this one...right here! This moment when Kathryn and Chakotay were both SO happy to be on New Earth and living their lives together. Kathryn gets to be a gardener and Chakotay gets to take care of his Woman Warrior.🥰🥰🥰

Day 1 - J/C June

Okay, I know I’m a day late, but I would love to participate in J/C June!                

1. The Moment/episode you started shipping J/C:

Honestly, probably “The Cloud”. I know it’s early on, and I know I probably didn’t fully ship them until “Resolutions”, but I began to notice their chemistry in “The Cloud” when Chakotay helps Janeway find her animal guide. I just think those two scenes with them in the beginning and middle of the episode are so sweet, and it really shows how quickly the two of them took to each other, despite Janeway being in Starfleet and Chakotay being in the Maquis. 

Janeway: Let me guess - yours is a bear.

Janeway: You’ve got a date.

Q: Janeway or Chakotay

A: That is a hard pick. If I need someone to fly a shuttle I pick Janeway, if I need someone for emotional support I'd Chakotay.

Day 1:

The Moment/episode you started shipping J/C : Resolutions.

Although there was potential for a Janeway/Chakotay relationship before “Resolutions” aired, that episode was for me the moment I started shipping J/C.

So, I'm apparently doing this in chunks because I can't do anything regularly. Sorry about that. 😂

4. Favorite J/C episode: Probably Shattered? Though Timeless and Coda are wonderful too. I just like that Janeway--who, may I remind you, still thinks Chakotay is a fugitive--is instantly attracted to him and clearly does not believe him when he says they aren't in a relationship. 😂

J/C June Day 7: J/C scene(s) that made you CRY: Year of Hell pocket watch

He ALWAYS remembers her birthday, she refuses anything nice for herself when her ship needs it more, then after he’s taken from her, she “goes down with her ship” but not before one last look at the pocket watch and his empty seat. 😭😭😭 I feel for him trying to get back to her, I feel for her trying to hold the family together, and I feel for the sacrifice of valiant Voyager.
